Wildlife Sites in Rushcliffe

Lily Ponds; Radcliffe on Trent

How to get there:

From Park Road, pass through Rockley Memorial Park and down the steep path (which is itself an interesting area) and onto the flood plain. Follow the path to the right.

The Lily Ponds SINC are rich in wildlife and very good for odonata. The ponds have Water Stick Insect and Water Scorpion. The site was acquired by Radcliffe on Trent Parish Council in 2014 and is managed as a nature reserve.
