How Can I support the Rushcliffe Barn Owl Project?

RuBOP is run entirely by volunteers. Howard Broughton is the principal driving force - he has the licence from Natural England to investigate the nest boxes and the licence from the BTO to ring the birds. He arranges the field work, liaises with the landowners, gets the boxes built and helps raise funds. He has assistance in the fieldwork from whomever he can coerce and recently this has been from Gordon Ellis, Chris Hughes and Neil Pinder. Over the years a great many people have given invaluable assistance in many ways.

RuBOP needs money to run the Project: The main cost is the 4WD vehicle that is essential to get materials across farmland and of course its running costs. If you would like to help financially, Howard would be delighted to receive a cheque made payable to "Rushcliffe Barn Owl Project".
