Native Range
South Asia and Australasia. Several subspecies are resident in the Philippines, S Borneo, Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Moluccas, Lesser Sundas, S New Guinea and North and East Australia.
British Occurrence
Two wandered into the Lound complex, Nottinghamshire on 20th May 2010.
