North America. The western half of the USA from the Canadian border south into northern Mexixo.
Conservation Status
Peregrine Falcon internationally is designated: Least Concern
Prairie Falcon appears on Category E as Falco mexicanus but it is now regarded as a race of Peregrine Falcon. I am unable to trace any record of (what was presumably a falconer's escape) Prairie Falcon in the wild.
