aka Japanese White-eye
Asia. Japan, Korea, Philippines, Sulawesi, Java, Bali and Lesser Sundas
Least Concern
Deciding where the white-eyes are sufficiently definable as separate species has been troublesome. In particular, the former Japanese White-eye Z. japonicus (which I am assuming to be the species seen in the wild in Britain) and two others. So Z. japonicus is now the Warbling White-eye and this is the species being addressed here.
