Four at Ditchford and Stanwick Gravel Pits in Northants on 1st October 1997, 1 on the Tweed estuary in April 2000 one at Ravensthorpe Reservoir in March 2002, 1 on the Nene Washes in Feb 2003. The species is commonly held in captivity and highly unlikely to occur here naturally.
