Native Range

North America. Eastern USA (and southernmost Manitoba, Canada). Breeds in the northern part of this range and migrates southwards for the winter.

NBN atlas has 0 records as at end 2024. Map Here

One was on Lundy, Devon in 1966. It is the sole record for the western palearctic and is believed to have been ship-assisted as the species is a short-distance migrant.
