Barbary Falcon F. p. pelegrinoides:Canary Islands, North Africa to Iraq.

Peregrine Falcon F. peregrinus. All Continents except Antarctica. Discontinuously throughout with a north-south migration in the northern hemisphere.

Conservation Status

Least Concern (F. peregrinus sensu lato)

Barbary Falcon is considered to be one of 19 subspecies of Peregrine Falcon recognised by birdsoftheworld.org

Prairie Falcon is also closely related and the two have hybridised.
